Hire a room at Barnet URC

The Ewen Hall is a large multipurpose hall 14m (46ft) x 17m (56ft) with a stage at one end and a balcony at the other. It is ideal for large parties, receptions, shows, exhibitions, etc. The sides are raised two steps above the centre making it excellent for arena shows and dances. The windows have blinds making it suitable for films and slide shows. The stage is 6.4m (21ft) wide and 3m (10ft) deep with a pull out extension making it 4.8m (16ft) deep on two levels. There is stage lighting and sound equipment available at extra cost. The hall has a grand piano which is tuned to concert pitch. The Ewen Hall can seat up to 300 people sitting in rows or 150 people at tables.

Rates: £30 per hour

The Church Parlour is classroom sized 8.3m (27ft) x 6.7m (22ft). It is a comfortable room with thick carpet. It has a small kitchen attached for making tea, coffee and light refreshments which is included in the price. It has a good upright piano. The Church Parlour is suitable for smaller functions such as meetings. It can seat up to 50 people sitting in rows, 36 at tables.

Rates: £15 per hour

The Stewart Room is classroom sized 10.4m (34ft) x 6m (20ft) with a wooden floor. It is close to the kitchen making it ideal for events where food is being served. It is suitable for smaller functions such as children's parties. There is a piano. It can seat up to 60 people in rows or 48 at tables.

Rates: £15 per hour

The main Kitchen is available for hire with any of the rooms. It has three sinks for food preparation and a wash basin for hand washing. There is a large gas oven, water heater and fridge. A large serving hatch opens onto a lobby area beside the Stewart Room. Adequate cutlery and crockery is included when hiring the kitchen.

Rates: £20 per day, £11 per half day. Only available if another room is hired.
